After Mr. Denman’s passing in 1956, he bequeathed the Denman Estate to his son, Gilbert Jr. Gilbert Denman Jr. was one of the most influential philanthropists in San Antonio. After Gilbert Jr. passed, in 2004, the estate moved through a few different organizations until 2018, when the non-profit organization the Family Educator's Alliance of South Texas (FEAST), purchased the estate.

FEAST now uses the mansion to host many of its nonprofit events, splendid weddings, beautiful receptions, anniversary parties, holiday celebrations, and gala fundraisers. The estate is most beautiful when it is filled with the goodwill of people who are gathered to promote a worthy cause or to celebrate a loved one’s happiness. Community Impact

Long before San Antonio grew and spread north, The Rosemont, previously known as The Denman Estate, was nestled in what was considered the edge of the Texas Hill Country. Now with the booming city on all sides, this estate remains an oasis nevertheless. Embellished with century-old oak trees and an abundance of wildlife, it is ideally suited for weddings, receptions, corporate functions, and charitable events.

In 1936, Gilbert Denman Sr. and his wife Pearl built this southern style mansion called “Rosemont”. Gilbert Denman Sr. was a third-generation attorney working in a law firm started by his grandfather. He was known for his love of education as the president of the State Board of Education, and as a philanthropist.
